App Design

UI/UX Design, 2022

Project Type: Mobile App

Role: UI/UX Designer

Goal: I redesigned the UI/UX for the Medi-Call app, focusing on creating a user-friendly flow that catered to the healthcare context. Since users would likely be using the app when unwell, I ensured the navigation was simple and intuitive. Additionally, I conducted app testing and documented feedback on any errors or issues I encountered, which I shared with the developers to ensure a seamless final product.

Create User Flow

Pain Point

Previous design

One page contained an excessive amount of information(Questions that the user needs to fill out), causing users to scroll extensively and feel fatigued before completing the task. Additionally, the scroll function(Severity) was difficult to adjust to meet the user's desired position.

Solution

Break the questions down into individual steps, with each page containing one question. Include questions with a Skip button, allowing users the freedom to bypass them. For the Severity section, incorporate a color bar for a more visual representation of each severity status, and enable users to click on the status instead of scrolling. Label the page with a "Step 1" title to help users anticipate the process and provide clarity. Ensure every page features a button with clear UX copy, such as "Finalize Appointment" on the penultimate page, to indicate that they are nearing the end of the process.

Website Design

Web/UX Design | Website development, 2022

Goal: The primary focus of this project was to redesign the Medi-Call website to support the launch of their new app. My objective was to clearly introduce the app, ensuring users could easily access all necessary information about its features and benefits. To drive app downloads, I strategically placed Call-to-Action (CTA) buttons throughout the site that linked directly to the app download page, making the user journey seamless and intuitive.
